Redmi K90 Pro Max has been given an updated premium design reminiscent of the look of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The smartphone features flat metal edges, a straight back panel and a large rectangular camera unit that houses three sensors, a flash and a separate rear speaker with Bose sound customization.

The body of the device is IP68 protected against water and dust. Among the colors, a unique version in “denim” blue stands out – Xiaomi even reproduced the texture of the real fabric, while maintaining resistance to dirt and scratches.

On the front, there’s a 6.9-inch M10 OLED display with 2K+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness level of 3,500 nits. The screen supports HDR10+, DC Dimming, and Qingshan Eye Protection 3.0, as well as a special Circular Polarized Light 2.0 filter to reduce glare and eye fatigue.

The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip coupled with a next-generation Adreno graphics gas pedal, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. To enhance the gaming experience, the K90 Pro Max features an optional D2 graphics chip and a powerful cooling system with a heat dissipation area of 6,700mm².

Autonomy is provided by a 7,560mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, as well as 22.5W reverse wireless charging. The smartphone runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
The audio system deserves a special mention: the Redmi K90 Pro Max features a three-channel 2.1 speaker with two line drivers and a large bass module. The sound was customized by Bose.
The main camera is borrowed from the Xiaomi 17 and includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 950 sensor, a 50-megapixel OV50M ultra-wide-angle module and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom – a first for a Redmi smartphone.

In China, the Redmi K90 Pro Max is available in four colors: gold, white, black and denim.
