Nothing started its journey with wireless earbuds Ear (1), and now launches its first overhead headphones – symbolically named Headphone (1). The new product features the company’s signature transparent cup design and aims to compete with flagship noise-canceling models from Sony, Bose and Sennheiser.

Headphones (1) were developed in collaboration with British audio brand KEF and feature 40mm dynamic drivers, as well as a dedicated acoustic chamber and tuning software from KEF. An eight-band equalizer in the Nothing X app and support for AAC, SBC and LDAC codecs are also available.

Accordingly, the speakers are also available with an eight-band equalizer in the Nothing X app.

A hybrid ANC system with up to 42dB depth and six microphones is responsible for active noise cancellation. Connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.3, and there’s support for two devices simultaneously, as well as Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. There’s also an auto-pause function when you remove the headphones.

And you’ll be able to pause the headphones automatically when you remove them.

Control is accomplished via physical elements on the earcups: a volume roller, a track selector, and a programmable button that can be configured to switch ANC modes, call a voice assistant, or accept a call.
