MTS accelerated mobile Internet in VK Stadium up to 300 Mbps

MTS has improved the quality of mobile communication and internet in one of the largest concert halls in Moscow – VK Stadium. Now spectators, employees and guests of the venue can use mobile Internet at speeds of up to 300 Mbps, which will ensure comfortable online access even during mass events.

VK Stadium: the largest concert venue with ultra-fast internet

VK Stadium, located on Leningradsky Prospekt, seats up to 7,000 people and is one of the largest venues in Moscow. It hosts concerts, sporting events, fashion shows and mass parties, as well as cyber sports tournaments.

To ensure a stable signal and high Internet speed even at maximum load of the hall, the specialists of MTS installed a modern antenna-distribution system and connected base stations in three frequency bands LTE with MIMO 2×2 support. This allowed optimize the frequency resource and increase the network capacity.
