LG will unveil new robot vacuum cleaners and upright models at IFA 2025

LG Electronics will show four new home cleaning solutions at IFA 2025 in Berlin. The lineup will include a detergent robot vacuum cleaner with steam function, a robot vacuum cleaner with built-in station, an upright vacuum cleaner with Micro Cyclone technology, and a wet and dry model.

Vapor Cleaning Robot Vacuum
LG’s updated LG cleaning robot vacuum cleaner will get more than double the suction power compared to last year’s model. The device will feature a steam cleaning function that helps remove grease and liquid contaminants.
The docking station will sterilize the wash head cloth with hot water and steam, eliminating odors and keeping it clean. The built-in AI chip will recognize furniture, carpets and dirt. If a carpet is detected, the robot will automatically return to the station to remove the cleaning nozzle and avoid stains.

Built-in station with automatic door
The docking station will be able to be built under the kitchen sink. It will be equipped with an automatic door that opens when the robot leaves and remains invisible when closed.
Air circulation system will reduce noise, and water supply and drainage will be automatic. A contamination sensor will monitor the cleanliness of the nozzle in real time.

Vertical Vacuum Cleaner with Micro Cyclone
LG’s new upright vacuum cleaner will retain suction power even when clogged with pet hair and fine dust. It will be equipped with Micro Cyclone technology and a filter cleaning system.

The model is based on a design suitable for people with allergies and will get an automatic dusting system. A freestanding charging station will allow the device to be conveniently placed in an apartment.

LG will also show a lightweight vacuum cleaner with AI Roller Control, which reduces strain on wrists and will provide a smooth motion. The device will be able to suck up both liquid contaminants and solids.
The vacuum will be equipped with a light for cleaning dark corners, and the nozzle will automatically rinse with hot water, steam sterilize and dry.
