Google and Taiwanese manufacturing giant TSMC have entered into a long-term agreement to produce Tensor processors for Pixel smartphones. DigiTimes reports that the partnership will last three to five years, including the Pixel 14 generation.

Sources say that Google’s top US executives visited Taiwan a few months ago, where they discussed with TSMC representatives about supplying mobile SoCs for future Pixel smartphones. It’s now known that the agreement covers multiple generations, at least until the release of the Pixel 14.
