Fujifilm has unveiled the Instax Mini 41, a stylish instant camera with auto exposure

FUJIFILM has officially launched the new Instax Mini 41 instant camera. The new product features a black and silver body with orange accents and a textured finish for improved grip, combining the functions of a camera and a stylish accessory.

Instax Mini 41 works with FUJIFILM instax mini film (sold separately) and produces 62 × 46 mm images. The camera is equipped with a 60mm lens with an aperture of f/12.7, which consists of two components and two elements.

The viewfinder is optical, with 0.37× magnification and parallax correction when shooting in Close-Up mode. The minimum focusing distance is 0.3 meters, and Close-Up mode lets you shoot from 0.3 to 0.5 meters away.

Auto Light Control controls shutter speed and flash power depending on lighting conditions. Uses an electronic shutter with programmable speeds from 1/2 to 1/250 second, with support for slow sync mode for low-light shooting. The flash is automatically adjustable, with a recharge time of up to 7 seconds and an operating range of 0.3 to 2.2 meters.

Photos are output automatically, with a developing time of about 90 seconds (depending on temperature). The camera is powered by two AA (LR6) batteries and can print about 10 sets of 10 pictures each. The batteries are included for the first use only, then they should be replaced with new AA alkaline batteries. Auto power off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Additional features include a counter for remaining shots and a confirmation window for film installation. The camera weighs 345 grams (without batteries and strap) and measures 104.5 × 122.5 × 67.5 mm.
