TCL unveiled the Nxtpaper 11 Gen 2 tablet

TCL has officially unveiled a new budget Android tablet, the Nxtpaper 11 Gen 2, aimed at students, travelers and anyone looking for a lightweight device for work and study.
The tablet features an 11-inch FHD+ Nxtpaper 4.0 screen that filters 61% more blue light than conventional LCD panels, reducing glare and creating a soft, paper-like image that’s easy to read. There is a dedicated Nxtpaper button on the case to switch between Ink Paper, Color Paper and standard display modes. Brightness reaches 500 nits in sunlight, and refresh rates up to 60Hz are supported.

Inside there’s an eight-core MediaTek MT8786 processor, 8GB of RAM and another 8GB of virtual memory, while the built-in storage is 128GB expandable up to 1TB via microSD. The tablet runs Android 15 and offers TCL’s suite of AI tools, including Smart Voice Memo for transcriptions and mind maps, Writing Assist for draft letters and essays, real-time subtitles, Smart Translator for text, images, and voice, and Google Circle to Search for quick visual searches.
The tablet’s AI-powered design is a great way to get the most out of your tablet.
The 5 MP front camera supports video calls, the main camera is 8 MP with autofocus and LED flash, and both cameras can shoot 1080p video at 30 fps.

The 8,000mAh battery provides up to 19.9 hours of 720p video playback and supports 18W fast charging via USB-C, as well as charging other devices back. In standby mode, the tablet can last up to 59 days.
The body is metal, 7.3mm thick, weighs 500g, and has IP54 dust and splash protection. There are two speakers and two microphones built in, and it supports the T-Pen stylus for minimal lag and the feel of writing on paper. Connectors include USB-C 2.0, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0; there’s no 3.5mm jack.
The tablet is available in two configurations on Amazon: the base Wi-Fi model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage with a case and T-Pen costs $269.99, while the higher-end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs $299.99.
