Samsung has announced a new Galaxy S24 FE smartphone. The device features a 4-nanometer Exynos 2400e processor, supports the Galaxy AI suite and has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. All its features were also showcased and its price was announced.

The device’s price was also revealed.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by an Exynos 2400e chip with ray tracing support. The main camera is 50MP (f/1.8, OIS), the ultra-wide lens is 12MP (f/2.2), the triple zoom telephoto lens is 8MP (f/2.4, OIS) and the front camera is 10MP (f/2.4). There are several AI features to improve the quality of photos:

  • “AI Editor” (Generative Edit) for seamlessly moving and removing objects in images;
  • “Portrait Studio” (Portrait Studio) processes photos in different styles (comic, cartoon, pencil sketch, etc.);

Other AI features familiar from the S24 series include Circle and Find, real-time translator, simultaneous translation, text generator, and notes assistant. A 4700 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support is responsible for battery life, and wireless charging is also available. The smartphone is IP68-rated and runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1.

Pre-order for the smartphone is open with prices starting at $649 (59 970 rubles) for the version with 128GB of internal storage. Official sales will begin on October 3.
