Honor has revealed a budget Play 9C smartphone with Smart Capsule feature

The new Play 9C smartphone is now available in Honor’s budget lineup. Despite its affordable price, it comes with a high-capacity battery, impressive storage and a Smart Capsule feature that acts as a dynamic notification.
Honor Play 9C has a 6.65-inch IPS screen with 720×1612 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 780 nits peak brightness. The Smart Capsule feature displays call and message notifications at the top of the screen, and lets you control music playback and other functions.

The new device is powered by a Dimensity 6100+ processor, which is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM (including 8GB of virtual memory) and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. A 5200mAh battery with 10W charging support is responsible for long battery life.
For photos and videos, there’s a 13-megapixel main camera that can record 1080p clips and offers timelapse, night, portrait, panorama, and HDR modes. The front camera has a resolution of 5MP.

It’s also worth noting that the Honor Play 9C supports 5G networks and is Swiss SGS certified to resist damage from drops.
The smartphone is available in blue and black colors for $113 ($10 440 RUB) for the 6/128GB version and $142 ($13 120 RUB) for the 8/256GB model.
