Nubia has officially unveiled its new Red Magic 10 Air gamer smartphone in China, and its global release is scheduled for April 23, 2025. Flagship stuffing in the thinnest body

Red Magic 10 Air offers a 6.8-inch OLED display manufactured by BOE with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 nits of brightness. The panel supports 10-bit color reproduction, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and uses 2160Hz PWM and DC-dimming technologies to reduce eye strain. The claimed touch response rate reaches 2000Hz, giving a 20% increase in responsiveness over previous models. At just 7.85mm thick, it’s the thinnest gaming smartphone from Nubia.

Next level performance and cooling system

The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with a proprietary Red Core R3 co-processor that handles real-time audio effects, vibration and backlighting. Configurations include up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Cooling is handled by the Composite Liquid Metal 2.0 system, which combines a 3D vapor chamber, graphite plates and phase change materials.

Gaming features and under-display camera

The device runs on the Red Magic OS 10 shell, built on top of Android 15. The gamer tools include Crosshair Assist, Recon Mode and Motion Control. The camera is a dual 50MP module (wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses) and a 16MP front-facing camera below the display that supports the 4.0.

Fast charging and advanced features for gamers

Red Magic 10 Air features a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support that can charge the device to 100% in just 35 minutes. There’s also a battery bypass feature while gaming to reduce heating. Other specs include stereo speakers, an X-axis vibration motor, an under-screen fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB-C, and 520Hz responsive touch triggers with an anti-slip coating.

Nubia will announce all details on international pricing and availability on April 23.
