Realme Neo 7 SE is the first smartphone with AI-enhanced gamification from DeepSeek

Realme has officially announced a partnership with DeepSeek-R1 that will make the Realme Neo 7 SE the industry’s first AI-enhanced smartphone for gaming. The device will debut on February 25 in China, and the Realme Neo 7x will be unveiled along with it.
Realme has also announced that it will launch the Realme Neo 7x.
AI assistant for gamers
DeepSeek-R1 will provide the Realme Neo 7 SE with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, helping players with real-time analysis and strategy. In a published poster, the company hinted that one of the first AI-enabled games will be a mobile chess simulator. Artificial intelligence will parse complex game situations, analyze battles and suggest the most accurate strategies.
Realme hasn’t revealed which other games will get AI strategy support, but if the technology proves successful, it could be expanded to other genres, including MOBAs and shooters.

Characteristics and Features
Realme Neo 7 SE is built on the Dimensity 8400-Max chipset which will deliver a high level of performance. The smartphone will get a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, but the refresh rate of the screen is yet to be specified.
For long gaming sessions, the device will feature a 7000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. Memory options include up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

The smartphone’s cameras include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front camera. Other features noted include IR port, stereo speakers, and Realme UI 6 powered by Android 15.

Price and Competitors
Realme Neo 7 SE will go on sale in China for a price of under 2,000 yuan (~$275). It will be available in three colors: silver, black, and blue. Its main competitor will be the Redmi Turbo 4, which is powered by a similar Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset.
Realme has bet on AI tools for gamers, and if the DeepSeek-R1 can indeed offer advanced gaming analytics, it could be an important advantage over the competition.
