Realme 15x budget smartphone unveiled

Realme has officially launched a new affordable smartphone, the Realme 15x, which offers impressive specs at a low price point: a smooth screen, huge battery and rugged body.
The smartphone has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution and brightness up to 1200 nits. Inside, there’s a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. If needed, it can be expanded with a microSD card up to 2TB. Powering the device is a massive 7,000mAh battery with 60W wired fast charging support.

The main camera has a 50 MP resolution, while the front camera also features a 50 MP sensor, making the device equally handy for photo and video calls. It’s IP68 and IP69 certified, water and dust resistant, and has passed the MIL-STD 810H military ruggedization test. It runs Android 15 with the Realme UI 6 shell.
Other features include — a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a hybrid dual-SIM slot.
In India, the Realme 15x is available in three colors: Marine Blue, Aqua Blue and Maroon Red. The base version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 16,999 (about $192). The 8+128GB model is priced at Rs. 17,999 ($203) and the 8+256GB version — at Rs. 19,999 ($225).
