Oppo unveiled the A5i Pro 5G budget smartphone

Oppo launched the A5i and A5i Pro in June, but both were limited to 4G support. Now a 5G version of the A5i Pro has debuted.
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch LCD display with 720×1604 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness level of 1,000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. At the heart of the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage. A 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support is responsible for the battery life.

The main camera is represented by a 50 MP module and an additional 2 MP monochrome sensor. The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP. Features include a 3.5mm audio jack.
Oppo A5i Pro 5G is available in Breeze Blue and Midnight Purple colors for a price of 799 Malaysian ringgit (about $188). A free one-year extended warranty is available when purchased before September 16 through Oppo’s online store in Malaysia.
The smartphone’s body measures 165.71 × 76.24 × 7.99 mm and weighs 194 g. The device is IP65 (dust and splash proof) and MIL-STD-810H (shock resistant) certified. Oppo claims that the battery will retain at least 80% of its capacity even after five years of use.
