Oppo F29 Pro: leaked specs
By ForGeeks Oppo F29 Pro 5G is gearing up for its official debut in India, and thanks to a leak by insider Sudhanshu Ambhore, the main specs of the device have been revealed.
Display and performance
Oppo F29 Pro 5G will get a 6.7-inch Quad-Curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which works in conjunction with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage
Autonomy and Software
One of the main features of the F29 Pro will be a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. A display-integrated fingerprint scanner has also been confirmed.
The device will run on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15
Relationship with other Oppo models
Oppo released the F27 and F27 Pro+ last year, skipping the Pro version. Interestingly, the F27 Pro+ was a renamed Oppo A3 Pro exclusive to China. According to leaks, the F29 Pro 5G may turn out to be a rebranding of the Oppo A5 Pro, which debuted in December 2024
Expected launch date
It’s not yet known if there will be other models in the F29 series, but the Oppo F29 Pro 5G is expected to launch in India in March or April 2025
