The Oppo A2 Pro has surfaced on TENAA

Oppo’s new phone has received approval from TENAA, and according to a Digital Chat Station whistleblower, it will be called the A2 Pro. The Chinese regulator has approved the smartphone with a 5,000mAh battery, and according to the leak source, this smartphone will go on sale as early as September 15.

The new phone is expected to be available as soon as September 15.

TheA2 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, according to the certification page. The attached photos show slightly curved sides and a single perforation for the selfie camera. We can also see the three cameras on the back of the round island.

Digital Chat Station adds 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage to the phone variant. The Oppo A1 Pro appeared in November 2022, it was powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset and supported 67W charging. However, the A1 series never made it out of China, and we’ll have to wait and see if the A2 model will change that.

The A1 Pro is the first of its kind in China.
