Motorola unveiled Moto G86, G86 Power and G56 smartphones

Motorola has officially announced three new smartphones in the G series: the Moto G86, G86 Power, and the more affordable G56. Despite their similar design, the models differ in features, especially in terms of battery and chipset.
Moto G86 and G86 Power are built around a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The panel achieves local brightness of up to 4,500 nits, is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and has a built-in fingerprint scanner.

The two models are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. Cameras include a 50-megapixel LYT-600 main sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle module with macro mode. The selfie camera is 32 MP.
The main difference between the G86 and G86 Power is the battery. While the base version has a 5200mAh capacity, the Power gets Motorola’s record-breaking 6720mAh battery. Both models support 30W charging, and are IP68/IP69 and military MIL-STD 810H certified.

The smartphones are available in Pantone colors Spellbound, Cosmic Sky, Golden Cypress and Chrysanthemum. The Moto G86 is priced at €299/£280, while the G86 Power is priced at €329/£299.
The more affordable Moto G56 features a 6.72-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz. The new product debuts with the yet to be officially unveiled Dimensity 7060 chipset. It’s an eight-core processor with up to 2.6 GHz and Imagination IMG BXM-8-256 graphics.


Otherwise, the G56 is close to the older models: 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, 50+8 MP cameras, IP68/IP69 protection, a 5200 mAh battery and 30W charging. The device runs Android 15.
Color options include Pantone Black Oyster, Dazzling Blue, Gray Mist and Dill. Priced at €250/£199.
