Honor is gearing up for the unveiling of its flagship Magic 7 series on October 30. Ahead of the event, a well-known Digital Chat Station (DCS) insider has published large images of the Magic 7 Pro on Weibo, showing off key design elements. The photos confirm a triple camera with a telephoto periscope lens on the back and a front display with micro curved glass and symmetrical bezels. The front panel shows a pill-shaped cutout for the dual cameras, likely with support for 3D face unlocking. Honor has also confirmed AI integration into the camera system to improve photo quality.

Honor Magic 7 design highlights

According to images, the standard Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro versions feature an octagonal camera module with silver or gray bezels, and one of the renders hints at a gold frame. The camera includes three sensors and an LED flash, and the Honor logo sits at the bottom of the back panel.

The models are expected to be offered in 512GB and 1TB storage configurations for the Magic 7, in Gold, White, Black, Blue and Gray colors. The Pro version will likely be available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, with a more subdued color palette. The Magic 7 is rumored to get a 1.5K OLED display, while the Pro version will get a 2K OLED screen, both with powerful batteries: the Pro model has a 5,800 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 66W wireless charging.

Features and performance

The Honor Magic 7 series will include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69 water and dust protection, and the Pro version will support satellite connectivity. The entire lineup will run Android 15 with the company’s proprietary MagicOS 9.0.

All the lineup will be powered by Android 15 with the MagicOS 9.0 shell.

The heart of the Magic 7 will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is characterized by high performance and energy efficiency. The all-big-core architecture delivers 45% more processor power, an improved neural processor and a 44% increase in power efficiency, making the device smoother and more adaptable to AI tasks. This chipset aims to compete with peers such as the Dimensity 9400, which strengthens the overall performance of the Magic 7 series.
