MediaTek Dimensity 9400: key specifications revealed
By ForGeeks MediaTek’s next flagship chipset, the Dimesnity 9400, is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year. Today, a well-known network insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station revealed some of the specifications of this chipset. According to him, the chip will utilize TSMC’s second-generation 3nm N3E node, which will provide up to 34% reduction in power consumption.
The Dimensity 9400 will retain the structure of its predecessor with a high-performance Cortex-X5 core that currently runs at 3.4GHz. Most likely, by the time the processor is launched, the manufacturer will be able to overclock the frequency to higher values. The main core will be joined by three Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 blocks.
Early Gekbench benchmarks have shown that the Dimensity 9400 outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in performance and graphics.
