Insta360 GO 3: Compact action camera with screen and extended battery life
By ForGeeks The Insta360 company has introduced its new action camera model — Insta360 GO 3. The new model differs from previous models by having a complete case with a screen, making it similar to GoPro and DJI cameras.
The camera is no larger than the size of a thumb, but is capable of streaming live video to the built-in display. Users can record video at 2.7K resolution at 30 frames per second or choose a higher rate of 50 frames per second at 2560 × 1440 pixels.
The camera’s battery life is increased to 45 minutes, and with the Pod case — up to 170 minutes. A big advantage is the ability to control the camera without having to connect to a smartphone, thanks to the display on the case.
Insta360 GO 3 is available in three internal storage options: 32GB for $380, 64GB for $400 and 128GB for $430. It remains to be seen how these new features will affect sales of this compact action camera.
