Redmi Note 12R with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor introduced
By ForGeeks Nearly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset was finally installed in the first smartphone. It was the Redmi Note 12R, unveiled today in China. Aside from the new chipset and some minor differences in the cameras, the Redmi Note 12R is almost identical in features to the Redmi Note 12.
The Redmi Note 12R is the first smartphone to be announced in China.
The smartphone gets a 6.79-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. In the notch of the screen is a 5-megapixel front camera. On the back, there’s a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8) and a 2-megapixel macro module.

The Redmi Note 12R comes with 4/6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card slot. The device also features a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
The phone is available in three colors: Midnight Black, Time Blue and Sky Fantasy.
