CORSAIR releases MP700 ELITE high-speed SSDs with PCIe 5.0 support
By ForGeeks CORSAIR has announced the release of the new MP700 ELITE series of PCIe 5.0 SSDs. These SSDs offer the highest performance and reliability, making them an affordable solution for the mass market.
The MP700 ELITE offers read speeds up to 10,000MB/s and write speeds up to 8,500MB/s, thanks to its state-of-the-art PCIe 5.0 x4 controller. This performance allows for significantly faster operating system boot times, faster game and file loading times, and a better overall system experience.
The MP700 ELITE drives feature high-density 3D TLC NAND to strike a balance between performance and durability. Support for Microsoft DirectStorage technology allows the SSD to communicate directly with the graphics card, which reduces load times for DirectStorage-enabled games and enhances smooth gameplay.
The MP700 ELITE Series is available in M.2 2280 form factor with heatsink options for desktop PCs and heatsink-less options for notebooks or integrated cooling systems. The SSDs are compatible with PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 3.0 platforms, but a PCIe 5.0 platform such as Intel or AMD’s 800 series is recommended for maximum throughput.
The MP700 ELITE SSDs are available in M.2 2280 form factor with heatsink for desktop use and without heatsink for notebook or integrated cooling.
CORSAIR offers a five-year warranty on the MP700 ELITE Series and SSD Toolbox SSD management software. The drives are available now in 1TB and 2TB capacities through the CORSAIR Brand Store and authorized retailers and distributors worldwide.
