Computex 2025: Nvidia officially reveals GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card

Jensen Huang demonstrated the gas pedal on stage, but skirted technical details.
While speaking at Nvidia’s regular presentation, the company’s CEO Jensen Huang demonstrated the GeForce RTX 5060 for the first time. On stage, he held a graphics card branded with ASUS and also showed off an MSI laptop with an RTX 5060 on board.
Despite the demo, no specs or new details were given by Huang. The main focus of the presentation was artificial intelligence rather than gaming graphics cards. However, journalists and insiders have already revealed some parameters of the RTX 5060 in advance.

According to industry sources, RTX 5060 is about 25% faster than RTX 4060 when activated DLSS Frame Generation, making it one of the best performing mid-range solutions.
On stage, Nvidia also showed a virtual scene of a European city with a water feature and candles, where Huang said the graphics card rendered only one in ten frames, with the remaining 90 percent generated by DLSS technology. This underscores the company’s reliance on neural network-based methods for upscaling and image reconstruction.
“When you’re a CEO, you have a lot of kids. GeForce is one of them. Right now, 90% of our presentations are not about GeForce, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love it,” said Jensen Huang. He said the launch of the RTX 50-series was the fastest and most successful in Nvidia’s history, and the GeForce brand itself celebrated 30th anniversary.

More details about the RTX 5060 are expected in the coming weeks, but it’s already clear that Nvidia will be emphasizing energy efficiency and DLSS scalability, not just raw performance gains.
