Apple WWDC 2023: M2 Ultra-based Mac Pro unveiled

Apple introduced the Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra processor.
The new processor outperforms the fastest Intel-based Mac Pro. Many resource-intensive workloads like 3D modeling will render up to three times faster.
One of the key features is the amount of combined memory, which reaches a fantastic 192GB.
Video processing is also accelerated, thanks to the new media engine in the processor. The Intel-based Apple Mac Pro does this with a graphics card that plays video in 8K ProRes resolution.

The M2 Ultra-based computer will have seven of these graphics cards built in. So the Mac Pro will be able to process 24 frames in 4K resolution and encode them in ProRes in real time.
