The developers of the fighting video game Mortal Kombat 1 have made a statement, making it known that it will be free to play for a while in March. The latest game in the fighting game series will be available March 7-10 for all users of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, as well as Steam for PC. It is worth specifying that the trial version will feature many popular characters, local multiplayer and online multiplayer modes. There’s currently no information on whether Nintendo Switch owners will be able to run the trial version.

The trial version will be available on Nintendo Switch.

As of February 28 this year, those who subscribe to the Kombat Pack will be able to play as Peacekeeper. According to the developers, this is a new character in the game that has already appeared in director James Gunn’s DC Comics series of the same name. As a result, the character, who is modeled after wrestler and Peacekeeper actor John Cena, will be available to other users.

Remember, the Mortal Kombat 1 game is set to release in September 2023.
