Zero Company’s turn-based strategy game Zero Company will appear in the world of Star Wars

Fans will get their first look at the game on April 19 at the Star Wars Celebration in Japan.

E EA has revealed the name of a new strategy game based on the Star Wars universe, which was first revealed back in 2022. The project is called Zero Company Zero Company and is a single-player tactical game with turn-based mechanics. Details are expected to be revealed at the Star Wars Celebration Japan event on April 19.

A strategy game in the vein of XCOM and Civilization from the creators of the legendary games

Zero Company is developed by Bit Reactor studio, which is made up of veterans of the genre – they participated in the creation of such recognized strategies as XCOM and Civilization. The partners of the project are Respawn Entertainment  (a division of EA) and Lucasfilm Games, which guarantees high quality of performance and faithfulness to the spirit of the original universe.

As of now, the developers have not revealed a release date or a list of platforms on which Zero Company will appear. However, these details will likely be revealed during the game’s demo on April 19.

One of three Star Wars projects from Respawn

Zero Company is one of three Star Wars game projects that Respawn announced back in January 2022. The first was Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a sequel to the hit Jedi: Fallen Order that came out in 2023. The third project will be a brand new game in the first-person shooter genre, about which almost nothing is known yet.

So Zero Company promises to be a standout for strategy fans and fans of the Star Wars universe alike. We’ll just have to wait until Star Wars Celebration to see the game in action and find out more about the release date.
