The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered announced for PS5
By ForGeeks After leaks, Naughty Dog has officially announced The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered for PS5. The game, which will be released on January 19, 2024, will also get a physical deluxe edition.

The W.L.F edition will include a SteelBook, four enamel badges, a Washington Liberation Front patch and 47 Society of Champions trading cards, including eight holographic cards. This version of the game will be sold exclusively through PlayStation Direct in the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Austria.
Naughty Dog has also confirmed that PS4 owners will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version of the game for $10. Saves from the PS4 game will also be carried over to the remaster of The Last of Us Part 2.
Naughty Dog has also confirmed that the PS5 version of the game will be available to PS5 owners for a fee.
The remaster will include full DualSense support, developer commentary, and lost levels that never made it into the final version of the game. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will feature improved graphics, including native 4K output in Fidelity Mode, 1440p upscaling to 4K in Performance Mode, Unlocked Framerate option for VRR-enabled TVs, increased texture resolution, increased Level-of-Detail distance, improved shadow quality, and animation sampling rates.
