Sony PlayStation Showcase: Alan Wake 2 will be released in October 2023
By ForGeeks At the Sony PlayStation Showcase, publisher Epic Games and developer Remedy Entertainment announced a release date for Alan Wake 2 — October 17, 2023.
In an accompanying post on the Sony PlayStation Blog, Remedy communications director Thomas Puha confirmed that the game will feature a second main character and a second playable character named Saga Anderson.
A series of ritualistic murders threatens Bright Falls, a small town surrounded by the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. Anderson, an experienced FBI agent with a reputation for solving impossible cases, arrives to investigate the murders. Soon events turn into a nightmare as she discovers pages of gruesome history that begin to come true around her. Somehow these events lead to Alan Wake, a horror writer who disappeared 13 years ago.
