Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be released in 2024
By ForGeeks Ninja Theory has confirmed that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will release next year. The overall 2024 release window was announced Sunday during the Xbox Games Showcase. During the presentation, new footage of the game on Xbox Series X was also shown, showing Senua exploring a cave. Ninja Theory and studio owner Microsoft announced Hellblade 2 at The Game Awards in December 2019.

«Hellblade was special to us, and we didn’t want to do a straight sequel, we wanted to do something special, and so we’re making life as hard as possible for ourselves in that pursuit» —said Ninja Theory co-founder Tamim Antoniades in a behind-the-scenes video released in June 2021. The game is set in ninth-century Iceland, so we sent our teams of artists and sound designers there to do photography, photogrammetry, and combine it with satellite data to recreate large sections of the landscape».
