Red Dead Redemption may be getting a remaster

A new rating for Red Dead Redemption has been published. The 13-year-old game from Rockstar was ranked again this month by the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee, which has a track record of revealing upcoming games before the official announcement.
As Gematsu found out, the new ranking contains a classification number pertaining to console games. Red Dead Redemption was released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in May 2010, but was never ported to PC. The new Korean classification is separate from the existing classifications for the original game, Undead Nightmare Collection and Game of the Year Edition.

A Rockstar insider who previously leaked accurate information about the company’s games said last year that remasters of Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption were planned but then canceled.
RDR 2 was released in 2018, complete with the multiplayer mode Red Dead Online, which received a standalone release in 2020.
