Sega’s new Sonic game is coming next year

According to the document, the Knuckles TV show will be released in the first quarter of 2024, and then in the same quarter — the third season of the Sonic Prime series on Netflix. DLC for Sonic Superstars is listed as «TBD» throughout the year, and «a new game» will be released during the holiday season.

If true, the 2024 Sonic game would be a three-year milestone in the series, following the release of Superstars (2023) and last year’s Frontiers. Sonic Superstars — is a 2.5D side-view platformer in which players will control Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy Rose.
