Microsoft CEO: “I would like to get rid of console exclusives completely.

Satya Nadella testified Wednesday during Microsoft’s lawsuit against the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, which is trying to block the Xbox maker’s proposed $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
Nadella said that during his nine-and-a-half years at the helm of Microsoft, his philosophy was to make software available on as many platforms as possible.
I grew up in a company that always believed that software should work on as many platforms as possible, and I only believe in the Microsoft I grew up in.
.

When asked if he knew that Xbox had some games that were exclusive to its consoles, Nadella said it was necessary to compete in the gaming field with a more dominant competitor —Sony.
If it were up to me, I’d gladly get rid of all, sort of, console exclusives
