Little Nightmares 3 announced at Gamescom

The third game in the Little Nightmares series has been announced. The game’s trailer was shown during the Opening Night Live presentation at Gamescom. Unlike the first two games, however, the third game will be developed not by Tarsier, but by Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology and The Quarry.

The third game will be developed by Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology and The Quarry.

In February 2021, Tarsier, which was acquired by Embracer Group in 2019, said it would no longer work on the series and would focus on a new project.

Tarsier CEO Andreas Jonsson said at the time: «For the past 6 years, our mission at Tarsier Studios has been to create mesmerizing worlds. Little Nightmares was our first attempt and was a huge success. I personally love how the game has gathered fans around the world over the last 4 years».

And I love how the game has been a huge success.
