Hasbro has said it would like Microsoft to bring back old Activision Transformers games via Game Pass. Activision released several Transformers games during the Xbox 360 era that now can’t be purchased digitally due to licensing issues.
Hasbro said it would like Microsoft to bring back the old Transformers games via Game Pass.
Now, however, with an upcoming deal that will see Microsoft take ownership of Activision, Hasbro is hoping that this could spur a revival. Transformers: Devastation, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark and Transformers: War for Cybertron are not available for digital purchase. Some of the games can be played on Xbox consoles due to backwards compatibility, but a physical disk is required.

Transformers: Reactivate, Splash Damage’s new cooperative action game, was announced last year. Transformers: Reactivate will tell an original story in which players will take control of «some of their favorite characters, unique, weighty and powerful, seamlessly transitioning from machine to bot as they battle the Legion, the greatest threat the Autobots have faced».
Transformers: Reactivate is the first game in the series.
