New Civilization installment unveiled as a mobile game

Publisher 2K has announced a new game in Sid Meier’s Civilization series — Civilization: Eras & Allies. Civilization: Eras & Allies — is a conditionally free-to-play social 4X-strategy game designed specifically for iOS and Android. As a reminder, the game was previously tested under the name Conquests and Alliances — 4X Empire Builder.

At this point, 2K is in the process of rebranding the game and plans to continue testing it. Civilization: Eras & Allies promises players exciting gameplay mechanics, multiple civilizations with unique play styles, over 120 world leaders, multiplayer, and stunning graphics.

By the way, the developers assure that Civilization: Eras & Allies will not affect the development of the next big «Civilization». Note that sales of the franchise’s games have recently surpassed 68 million copies.
