Tula-based Octava DM will release new table microphones with a flexible boom
By ForGeeks The research and engineering center “Octava DM” of Tula is preparing to release two new models of desktop microphones on a flexible stand – MKE-250-1 and MKE-250-2, which expand the line of microphones for professional and everyday use. Sales of the new products will start in June 2025.
The two models are a logical evolution of the well-established MKE-250 conference call solution. The new devices retain the key advantage of the flexible gooseneck, which allows the microphone position to be precisely adjusted to the user, and provides high speech intelligibility.
- MKE-250-1 – model with XLR-output and power supply from 220V. Suitable for use in dispatch services, salesrooms and gas stations. Before the start of sound transmission, the microphone gives a sound signal – ringtone.
- MKE-250-2 – version with USB-C connector, powered directly from the computer. It is designed for video calls, online meetings, streaming and other tasks where ease of connection and stable voice quality are important.
The two models support a frequency range of 100 to 12,000 Hz and come with a tabletop stand and power supply. The units connect to amplifiers via their respective connectors.
- High sensitivity – 45 dB, which provides clear and crisp speech transmission even at moderate volume.
- Flexible detachable boom, allowing you to conveniently adjust the microphone to the user or placement conditions.

According to the company’s general director, Lyubov Stalnova, when developing the new models, the main emphasis was placed on sound quality and microphone directionality, which allows to effectively filter out background noise and amplify the speaker’s voice.
