Sony releases Inzone H9 II gaming headset with audio drivers from WH-1000XM6

Sony has unveiled the Inzone H9 II gaming headset, offering some of the premium technology of its audio lineup in a more affordable format. The model uses the same drivers found in the flagship WH-1000XM6 headphones, promising high quality audio.

In 2022, the company launched the Inzone series for gamers, including the Inzone H5. Now the flagship’s successor, the Inzone H9 II, has been unveiled. Unlike most gaming headphones, the new model doesn’t skimp on audio quality.

Inzone H9 II utilizes audio drivers from the WH-1000XM6 and also gets a lighter body, virtual 7.1-channel audio, and Sony 360 Reality Audio. Active noise canceling (ANC) and transparency mode are supported. The headset is compatible with AUX, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz via USB-C.

The device is suitable for Nintendo Switch 2, smartphones, PCs, and Xbox Series X. With wireless operation, up to 30 hours of battery life is promised. Special sound profiles developed with Fnatic have been added for popular games like Valorant and Apex Legends. The headset is priced at $349, making it more affordable than the WH-1000XM6.
