Samsung allows self-repair of TVs and monitors

Samsung has expanded its self-repair program for its devices, adding TVs, soundbars, monitors and projectors. The program covers Samsung TVs from the 2023 model year, along with remote controls, as well as monitors released within the past year. It’s worth noting that replacement parts can be purchased directly from the company and its partners.
Samsung has also expanded the range of self-repair parts for devices already included in the program. Galaxy Book owners can now fix the speakers and fan themselves. The company said that users will only need simple tools to repair TVs and monitors in most cases. Users will be able to replace “parts related to picture, power, Wi-Fi connectivity and sound” for different types of displays themselves. They’ll also have access to repair manuals and parts for some of the company’s 2023 soundbars.
