Samsung unveiled the Freestyle Gen 2 projector with built-in game streaming

The Freestyle 2 projector is compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth controllers and features increased memory for smoother operation. The projector also features Samsung’s SolarCell remote, which uses sunlight to recharge the battery. The projector can also be charged via the USB-C port.

The rest of the specs are identical to last year’s first-generation Freestyle model. The projector can scale from 30 to 100 inches, and its resolution is capped at 1080P. There is support for HDR10+ and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1. The projector also features 360-degree sound with a 5W speaker system, Tizen OS and Bixby voice assistant. The Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 projector is available for pre-order at Samsung’s US store for $800. It is expected to begin shipping on September 1. Pre-orders are now open, and you can get the projector’s carrying case for free.
