The Pebble 2 Duo has gone into mass production, with the first shipments expected in September

The Pebble revival project is finally becoming a reality. The company announced that the Pebble 2 Duo smart watch has officially entered the mass production stage and will start shipping to customers as early as September 2025.

When to expect the Pebble 2 Duo
According to company founder Eric Migikowski, the first pre-order customers will receive their devices in mid-September. Those who ordered a little later should expect to receive their devices in end of September, while orders from the second batch (“Batch 2”) will be delivered in October.

The timeline could move up to a week ahead due to shipping times from the warehouse. The production cycle will take about two more months to reach the planned production volume.
Water protection and limitations
The Pebble 2 Duo was originally planned to be rated IPX8, and while the final protection class is not specified, the device can withstand immersion up to 20 meters.

- the device is not designed to stay underwater for long periods of time;
- the device must not be exposed to hot or high-pressure water, including normal showers, as this will destroy the adhesive layer of the protection.
Autonomy and functionality
With the current software version, the Pebble 2 Duo lasts up to 2 weeks without charging. The company plans to increase battery life to 4 weeks with future updates.
Cost & Fees
The company clarified that the shipping confirmation indicates a rate of $8.42, but there will be no additional charges after shipment.
