OneXGPU Lite unveiled: eGPU with RX 7600M XT and mysterious USB 5.0

The company One-Netbook at its fall 2025 event, unexpectedly unveiled a new product —OneXGPU Lite, a compact external graphics module (eGPU) with the Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics card. The main intrigue was the announced interface «USB 5.0» with a bandwidth of 80 Gbps, although officially such a standard does not exist yet.

USB 5.0 or USB4 v2?

At the presentation, the manufacturer emphasized «USB 5.0». However, the latest current version of the specification is currently — USB4 v2, which also supports speeds up to 80Gbps.There are two possible explanations:

  • a marketing ploy and premature use of new branding;
  • or One-Netbook has insider knowledge of the upcoming USB labeling change from USB-IF;

A similar situation already happened: at the launch of OneXGPU 2 the company mentioned Radeon RX 7800M before its official announcement.

Design and dimensions

The key feature of the OneXGPU Lite — compactness. While a typical mini-ITX graphics card reaches 180mm, the OneXGPU Lite is only 114mm long. On stage, the company’s CEO demonstrated the device by tucking it into his pants pocket.

Other dimensions and weight were not disclosed, but it is known that the case is made of CNC-machined aluminum and has 15,065 vents, which should have a positive impact on cooling and weight.

Connections and Power

OneXGPU Lite is not only equipped with «USB 5.0» (USB4 v2), but also with a OCuLink (64Gbps) connector if the user’s PC supports this standard.In addition, the device can operate in external power mode, providing up to 65W for a laptop or portable console. Thus, it can also be used as a travel charger. However, it’s not yet specified whether the OneXGPU Lite itself requires an external power supply to operate.
