Casio brings metal bezel G-Shock with bold red dials to Europe

Casio is expanding the reach of its new metal G-Shock lineup featuring striking bright red dials. The GM-110YRA-8JF, GM-2100YRA-8JF, GM-5600YRA-8JF, and GM-6900YRA-8JF models have started appearing in the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany. This collection aims to blend the signature ruggedness of G-Shock watches with a standout, almost jewelry-like aesthetic – pairing stainless steel with vivid red accents designed to work both on the street and as part of a collector’s showcase.

The lineup includes four variants, ranging from a classic square digital model to hybrid analog-digital options and a larger round case. According to Casio’s release, each watch features a stainless steel bezel, shock-resistant body, 20-bar (200 meter) water resistance, mineral glass, alarms, timers, an auto-calendar, and bright backlighting for low-light visibility.

  • GM-110YRA-8JF – analog-digital hybrid with a metal red dial and steel bezel
  • GM-2100YRA-8JF – slim “CasiOak” style with red dial accents
  • GM-5600YRA-8JF – classic square digital G-Shock featuring a vivid red display
  • GM-6900YRA-8JF – larger round case with the same rich red hue

Prices for some models are already out: the hybrid GM-2100YRA-8A is listed at €260, while the digital GM-2100YRA-8A comes in at €349. Details for the GM-2100YRA-8A and GM-5600YRA-8 are still partially under wraps. Casio is not just focusing on looks – the brand retains the practical features that have made G-Shock a hit with active users over the years.

If the collector-friendly red finishes catch on, expect similar releases in other colors and markets. Casio regularly tests demand with limited editions before scaling the most successful designs. The question remains whether red will stay a trendy accent or evolve into a new “classic” G-Shock variant.
