ButterFly: wireless charging for iPhone and Apple Watch
By ForGeeks Twelve South has unveiled a new gadget called ButterFly. This compact 2-in-1 device is a charger that supports MagSafe technology and provides simultaneous charging for smartphones and a smartwatch or Apple headphones.
The ButterFly is a compact 2-in-1 device that can be used to charge smartphones and smartwatches or Apple headphones at the same time.
If you think back to Apple’s signature MagSafe Duo (recently discontinued), the idea behind the Twelve South ButterFly is almost similar. When folded, the accessory is no bigger than an AirPods Pro case in size. Unlike Apple’s product, Twelve South uses leather.
Twelve South Butterfly consists of two aluminum discs – one with a MagSafe charger, the other with an Apple Watch charger – connected by a vegan leather strap.

The Twelve South charger supports full 15W MagSafe charging for the iPhone and fast charging for the Apple Watch, and with certain settings, Butterfly can activate either iOS 17 standby mode or Apple Watch bedside mode. Since the MagSafe pad is also Qi compatible, it can also be used to slowly charge your headphones.
The MagSafe pad is also Qi-compatible.
ButterFly is available for pre-order on Twelve South’s website for $129.99 (RUB 12,000).
