The Apple Vision Pro augmented reality headset will be released in 2024, according to the company’s developer. The first batch of Vision Pro will have 400,000 units and will go into production next month.

The headset will be sold in the U.S. by Luxshare, with production costs of about $1700. The headset will contain up to 60% Chinese components. Speaking of which, Apple expects to ship up to 1 million Vision Pro augmented reality headsets in 2024, and by 2025 or 2027, Apple plans to offer customers a cheaper version of the headset.

The harmonious development of the software ecosystem will determine the market popularity of the headset.
