Xiaomi unveiled the TV S Mini LED 2025 series of 288Hz TV S Mini LED TVs
By ForGeeks Xiaomi has announced a series of TV S Mini LED 2025 in the Chinese market. The new products are already available for pre-order, and official sales will start on May 22. The lineup includes models with a diagonal of 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches. The price starts at 2999 yuan ($416) for the 55-inch version without installation. The 75-inch version with installation will cost 5,199 yuan ($722). Pricing for the 85-inch model has not yet been announced.
A screen with anti-reflective coating and up to 704 backlight zones
The main update of the series is a low-reflective panel with a reflectivity of only 1.8%. This solution improves black tones and contrast, especially in bright ambient light. The panel is based on a VA-matrix with Mini LED backlight and multi-layer optical film. The number of local dimming zones varies depending on the diagonal: from 408 on a 55-inch to 704 on a 75-inch.
The flagship TV S75 has a 4K (3840×2160) resolution screen with a peak brightness of 1700 nits and a 144Hz refresh rate. In gaming mode, the refresh rate goes up to 288Hz. VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro are also supported.
Artificial Intelligence and accurate color reproduction
The second-generation Master Image Engine uses AI to control local dimming, dynamic contrast and color temperature in real time. The screen covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color space and is factory calibrated to an accuracy of about Delta E = 2.
Performance and Multimedia
Inside, there’s a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, Mali-G52 graphics, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a wide range of ports are supported:
- 2 HDMI 2.1 (one with eARC)
- 1 HDMI 2.0
- USB 3.0 and USB 2.0
- AV input, LAN, optical S/PDIF
The audio system includes four speakers (two tweeters and two broadband speakers) with a combined 30 watts of power. The sound is customized with Harman AudioEFX technology and support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

HyperOS and smart features
The TVs run HyperOS 2.0 and feature Xiao AI voice assistant with long-range command recognition. NFC streaming, smart home control, and a slim body with an almost frameless design for wall-mounting are also available.
