Xiaomi unveiled the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro with dual radar and smart controls

Xiaomi has launched a new smart air conditioner called the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro. The device is already available for purchase on JD.com and other Chinese sites at a price of 3,999 yuan (about $549). Sales start today at 8 p.m. Beijing time.
Design and cooling features
Mijia Air Conditioner Pro utilizes an airflow system with air intake from the bottom and discharge from the top. It requires a minimum clearance of only 2cm from the ceiling for installation. This solution creates air circulation inside the room for more comfortable cooling.
The air conditioner is equipped with dual millimeter-wave radar. It detects the presence of a person within a radius of up to 7 meters and covers an angle of 180°. Depending on the user’s position, the unit can automatically change the direction of flow: avoiding direct blowing or providing softer cooling if a person is nearby.

Energy Efficiency and Performance
Xiaomi’s new air conditioner has a high energy efficiency rating of APF 5.65. The unit is based on dual condensers and evaporators, so it provides fast cooling in 30 seconds and heating in 60 seconds.
