Hisense reveals U7 series of smart TVs powered by quantum dots

Hispense has announced the release of a new line of U7 smart TVs that utilize quantum dot displays with mini-LED backlighting. These models are positioned as “mid-premium” devices and are available in screen sizes from 55 to 116 inches, as well as a number of features that will be useful for video-game enthusiasts.

Hisense has announced the release of a new lineup of smart TVs that utilize quantum dot displays with mini-LED backlights.

As of launch, the Hisense U7 series is available in five models with screen sizes of 55, 65, 75, 85 and 100 inches, with a 116-inch model planned for future release. All variants feature QLED screens with adaptive refresh rates ranging from 48 to 165 Hz. Maximum brightness reaches 3000 nits, and gaming features include AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Game Booster for a smoother gaming experience, as well as a Game Bar for quick parameter adjustments.

In addition, the new TVs support VRR, MEMC, Low Latency MEMC and Auto Low Latency Mode. According to the manufacturer, the company’s Hi-View AI Engine Pro processor performs real-time image processing, providing a sharper, richer and more realistic picture. All the TVs are powered by the Google TV operating system. Pricing is set as follows:

  • 55″: $1,299 (105,855 rubles);
  • 65″: $1,499 (122,150 rubles);
  • 75″: $1,999 (162,900 rubles);
  • 85″: $2,499 (203,640 rubles);
  • 100″: $4,999 (407,370 rubles);
