Zeekr unveiled an updated version of the 009 electric minivan

The Chinese brand Zeekr, which is owned by Geely, has unveiled an updated version of the 009 electric minivan. In the 2024 model, the manufacturer didn’t touch the exterior and focused on improving the vehicle’s technical characteristics.

Zeekr 009 is equipped with two electric motors of 400 kW each, all-wheel drive and a triple lithium battery CATL CTP 3.0 Qilin. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 4.5 seconds and the braking distance from 100 km/h to zero is 36.9 meters. Batteries are available in 116 kWh and 140 kWh capacities, with CLTC cycle range of 702 km and 822 km respectively. Charging time from 10 to 80 percent is just 28 minutes.

This six-seat electric vehicle measures 5209x2024x1848 mm and has a wheelbase of 3205 mm. Its coefficient of aerodynamic drag is just 0.27. According to the manufacturer, it is the world’s first minivan with a smart grille that can be changed depending on the usage scenario.
The vehicle features the Zeekr AD driver assistance system, realized through 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars and millimeter-wave radar. Zeekr 009 supports adaptive cruise control, automatic lane change, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front and rear cross-traffic alert, and blind spot monitoring.

Inside, there’s a 15.4-inch center control screen, a 10.25-inch instrument panel, and a 15.6-inch flip-up roof screen. The rearview mirror is digital, too, and broadcasts a camera image. There’s still electric steering wheel adjustment, passenger seat upgrades, and dual-layer soundproof glass third-row seats. The steering wheel supports account linkage, and its position can be automatically adjusted to suit the driver’s habits.

The passenger seats are adjustable, and a massage function can be activated. Yamaha speakers are built into the headrest of each seat. Smartphone remote control, wireless updating, facial recognition and wireless charging are supported.
