Xiaomi has unveiled the SU7 Ultra Track Edition, the most extreme version of its first electric car

At the 2025 Greater Bay Area Auto Show, Xiaomi revealed a new track version of its SU7 sedan, the SU7 Ultra Track Edition. It’s the most performance-oriented version of the brand’s first electric car.
The SU7 Ultra turns into the Track Edition thanks to the optional Track Professional Package, which costs 100,000 yuan (about €12,510). It includes racing components: adjustable Bilstein EVO R suspension, Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS semi-slicks and Endless brake pads paired with standard ceramic discs. The car also received 21-inch forged wheels. All these components have been tested on various circuits, including the famous Nürburgring.

TheSU7 Ultra Track Edition is different on the exterior as well. The bodywork features a unique Xiaomi logo in 24-karat gold carbon fiber. The hood with two vents (which the company claims are functional) is made of carbon fiber and is 1.3 kg lighter than the usual one. Also made of carbon fiber are the roof, spoiler, diffuser, mirrors and side skirts. Aggressive rear bumper and a large fixed antifender emphasize the racing character of the car. Dimensions of the model: 5,070 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width and 1,465 mm in height with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The roof retains a protruding LiDAR sensor on the driver assistance system, and on the sides there are silver stickers with the inscription «Ultra».
The interior is race-inspired with plenty of alcantara and carbon fiber. Xiaomi claims 21 interior elements are made of carbon fiber, including the steering wheel, seat backs, center console, door panels and even illuminated sills. The dashboard features a 7.1-inch screen, with a 16.1-inch display in the center. Despite its track orientation, the car retains a 25-inch audio system and two 50-watt wireless chargers.
The car’s 25-inch audio system and two 50-watt wireless charging systems are also retained.

It’s based on the same powertrain as the standard SU7 Ultra: three electric motors and all-wheel drive. The two rear engines (V8s) produce 578 hp each, and the front engine (V6s) adds another 392 hp, for a total of 1,548 hp. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 1.98 seconds, the top speed reaches 350 km/h.
The battery is a 93.7 kWh unit made by CATL, with a voltage of 897V. The range is up to 630 km on the CLTC cycle, but it will be noticeably less when driving actively on the track. The main difference is that the Track Edition offers the full potential of the rig immediately, while the standard version needs activation via a software update. The cooling system has also been improved.
On the Shanghai International Circuit, the Track Edition achieved a lap time of 2 minutes and 9.944 seconds – faster than the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT. As part of the collaboration with the Nürburgring, Turn 12 on the circuit is now officially called “Xiaomi Turn.”

Despite the same basic stuffing, the SU7 Ultra and its track version feel quite different. The regular version is a comfortable and quiet, but very powerful, everyday electric car. The Track Edition sacrifices comfort for crisp handling: the suspension is stiffer, tire noise is higher, and the interior is focused on maximizing the driving experience.
The Track Professional package will go on sale soon, turning the SU7 Ultra into a full-fledged electric racing car. For the most discerning customers, Xiaomi is preparing a limited edition, the details of which have not yet been disclosed – but one thing is clear: the company is seriously targeting the high-performance electric car segment.
At the same time, Xiaomi is not yet revealing any details about the SU7 Ultra.
