Characteristics and dynamics
The Tesla Model Y Performance lags behind some competitors in acceleration to 100 km/h. The flagship Tesla Model 3 Performance is 0.4 seconds faster, while the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is 0.1 seconds faster.
The range in the WLTP cycle is 580 kilometers, just 6 kilometers less than the Long Range version. With a 15-minute charge, the electric car gets up to 243 kilometers of additional mileage.
Design and equipment
Compared to other modifications, the crossover features a modernized suspension and a sport package. The exterior features a carbon fiber spoiler and modified dodger. The interior gets a carbon-fiber trim and a 16-inch central display.
Cost and sales launch
Orders for the Tesla Model Y Performance are already being taken in Europe and a number of other markets. In Germany, the price starts at 62,000 euros, which is equivalent to about 5.8 million rubles.
