The visual changes start at the front of the car: the Peugeot 408 now has a frameless grille with a matrix pattern that emphasizes the model’s modern styling. All models are equipped with LED optics, including headlights and daytime running lights.

The taillights are connected by a decorative strip of glossy black plastic, giving the rear end a finished look. All versions have leather-trimmed seats and the RS version has a center armrest.
The center console has two 10-inch displays – one for the digital dashboard and one for the media system.
Technical specifications of the updated Peugeot 408
Beneath the hood of the updated Peugeot 408 is a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 175 horsepower. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
